A few funnies I got off of facebook.

They feel so true in my life right now.

For Fun

Here are somethings I found on facebook that have made me laugh.  I hope you enjoy them too. I feel this way sometimes.
But I must not have been given a parenting book or it was misplaced.  I had to censor one of the pictures in the next one, but it is still funny.
Another one for Moms.
One for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
And lastly, doctors.

Exercise

I have been trying to be better at exercising recently.  It is hard when I cannot go for walks outside, and having two boys to entertain (among other things).  I saw this the other day and while it is not entirely true for me, I thought it was really funny.
Thanks, Mom, for the laugh!

A Toddler's Rules of Possession

This totally describes James.  Except the last one.
He will still play with broken and ripped toys until there is nothing left of them.

Smile

Saw this and loved it.  It is so true most of the time.

Hot Outside

I got this from my mom, and thought I would pass it on to give everyone a laugh even though it is hot outside.

Cornstarch

When cornstarch is mixed with water (or other liquids) it has some really interesting properties. I have actually noticed this property when I use cornstarch with cooking, but never on this scale.

This is a really awesome video! Thanks for sending it to me mom!

Ask Kids

I got this email from a friend of mine and I wanted to share it.  I hope it makes you laugh like it did me.

* * * * * * * * * * *

1. HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY?

-You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. -- Alan, age 10

-No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with.  -- Kristen, age 10

2. WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?

-Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.  -- Camille, age 10

3. HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF 2 PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?

-You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.  -- Derrick, age 8

4. WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?

-Both don't want any more kids.  -- Lori, age 8

5. WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?

-Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.   -- Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure)

-On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.  -- Martin, age 10

6. WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?

-When they're rich.  -- Pam, age 7

-The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that.  -- Curt, age 7

-The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do.  -- Howard, age 8

7. IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?

-It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.  -- Anita, age 9 (bless you child )

8. HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED?

-There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there?  -- Kelvin, age 8

And the #1 Favorite is ........

9. HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?

-Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a dump truck.  -- Ricky , age 10

R U LDS 2?

My mom sent me this poem in an email and it made me laugh.  I actually try not to use these abbreviations as much as possible (I write it out most of the time).  It just bothers me sometimes that members of our church use all these and sometimes people have no idea what they are talking about.

Anyway, you might be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints if you understand what this is talking about.

My son's a CTR... I go to PEC.
I work for CES... I study the TG.
I read the B of M... I probe the D&C.
I search the KJV... I ponder the JST.
Today in BYC... we planned for EFY.
I stayed a little after... and had a PPI.
The YM and YW... are putting on a play.
It's one that I remember... we did in MIA.
Before our oldest son ... went in the MTC,
He helped the BSA... complete their SME.
Soon our oldest daughter... is heading for the Y..
Soon our oldest clothing... is going to the DI.
Now, if you've understood... this alphabetic mess,
The chances are quite good... that you are LDS

Do Dogs Go to Heaven?

Time for a funny post.  This came from my sister, Kristy, and made me laugh.  Enjoy!

Do Dogs Go To Heaven?

This is literally a 'church signs' debate, being played out in a Southern town, between Our Lady of Martyrs Catholic church and Beulah Cumberland Presbyterian church. From top to bottom shows you the response and counter-response over time...The Catholics are displaying a much better sense of humor. One does get the impression that the Presbyterians are actually taking this seriously. The churches face each other across a busy street.

Light at the End of the Tunnel

I just got this email and it made me laugh so I thought I would share it. This is not the exciting news. For that look at the next post. This is just something to make you laugh and hopefully brighten your day as it brightened mine.

* * * * * * * * * * *

No matter what situation life throws at you...

No matter how long a treacherous your journey may seem...

Remember there is always a light at the end of the tunnel!

You are laughing, aren't you?

That's good.... My job here is done.

Have a great day!

Scrubs

Jon and I have been watching lots of reruns of "Scrubs." Jon has been told that it is the most realistic portrayals of life in the hospital. I guess it is, but it can also be really funny. One of my favorite parts is the song at the beginning. The words are, "I can't do this all on my own. No, I'm no, I'm no superman." It just applies to so many things in life.

Dr. Cox, one of the attendings, always calls J.D., an intern, girls' names. Here is a little clip of some of the names Dr. Cox uses.
