I was getting our coolers ready for our trip, when James pushed them from the kitchen to where you see them in this video.  I was trying to get him pushing them, but could not get the camera soon enough.  You will notice that he wanted me to take a picture of him too.  The is why he pauses and smiles.  He enjoyed having them around.

Side note:  Both coolers actually belong to my parents.  The red one we are planning to return, because we already have one the same size and right now we do not need two like it.  We packed other stuff in it to maximize our space usage.  The other we packed with ice, food, and milk (since we get so much with WIC, but can only purchase it in Lucas County).  It is the perfect size to have in the front of the car.

Cars

Lately, I have founds James' cars around the house like this.

More Chairs

When James was playing with the chairs the other day he also tried to push the chair down the hall.

When it tips over, he makes the best out of it by playing peek-a-boo with mom.

Cheese! or maybe he is frustrated that he cannot stand the chair up and mom is not helping.

James likes to play with his toy on the back of the couch.  I tried to catch him doing it, but only got a few seconds before he saw the camera and wanted me to take a picture of him.

Happenings

A few things going on in our lives recently.

1.  Jon has been study the last few weeks for the written part of the second part of the boards (known as Step 2 CK).  He has been worried about it all week.  He is currently taking the eight hour test.  I really hope it goes well.

2.  Jon was up all night Sunday night with horrible tooth pain.  He was able to get into the dentist and got a root canal (or at least most of a root canal).  The dentist killed the nerve and put in a temporary filling until after Jon's rotation in Denver.  The dentist also told Jon that the pressure could build up again and they would have to relieve it and put in another temporary filling.  Seriously!?  When is he supposed to do that if we are out of town? 

3.  I dislocated my shoulder playing softball again.  It hurt and I really don't know what happened for a while after it happened.  I had to ask Jon where I had hit the ball, and it felt like I walked to first base, which I might have done.  I do remember yelling telling me to run and getting a runner once I got to first.  My shoulder is really sore now.  It was the last inning and my last game of the season.  What a way to end!  It has been fun to play again even though at first it was hard.  I am learning more and more that I am not as young or as in shape as I used to be.

4.  I have been cleaning and packing.  It's amazing all the needs to be done when you are going to be gone for awhile.  I feel good about where I am now in relation to when we leave.  I am glad I have the time and now motivation to get things done.

Nursery

James loves nursery and coloring.  He missed it a few weeks ago because he was sick, but his teachers gave him the coloring project the next week.  Here he is with his crown.

Comfy

James has been sick recently.  He found a new favorite place to watch TV. 

Now, he often gets comfy on the couch cushions. 

He will even climbs up on the couches now and lay down when he is tired.
