Fall

I love Michigan in the Fall!  I have said this many times before, but it is just such a wonderful season here.  I took this picture for my mom.

Last year she was here to watch the leaves change and then fall.  It drops a ton of leaves. It is beautiful when it changes colors.

I also love to go to Meijer Gardens in the Fall.  One day this month we met some friends there. Here is James and John looking out the window.

James loves this periscope in the sensory garden.

Meijer Gardens

On September 28th, we went to play at Meijer Gardens.  We love our membership there! James loves to go through this gate.

Open Presents

I found this video and relized I had not put it up here yet. This is Jacob openning one of his presents on his birthday.

Koestier's

The day after Jacob's birthday we went to Koestier's Fall Family Fun Play Area. It was so much fun!  It reminded me a little of the greenhouse I used to work in many years ago. Poor Jacob was still running a fever, so he stayed in his stroller  most of the time and enjoyed James's doughnuts.

I was impressed at the length of the hay ride. We saw lots of fun things.

Stopped at the "pumpkin patch" to pick a pumpkin. James wanted a green one.

This was Jame's favorite.

He went through, ran back to the beginning, repeated many times.

We took the pumpkin home to paint it, even though they had stuff there to do it.

I didn't want a pumpkin rolling around in the car with wet paint. It was a lot of fun, and it only cost $8 for all of that! The treat that came with the price was popcorn, apple cider, and fresh doughnuts! Pretty sure we will go back next year!
