Absence
Sorry, for the absence from blogging. Things have been crazy here. Our truck is now packed and we are cleaning today. This will likely be the last time I am on the Internet for a little while. We cannot get the Internet hooked up at our new place until the end of the month. I will have a lot of catching up to do then, but just wanted to give everyone a heads up that no we have not died, we just will not have Internet access for a little bit. More to come on recent adventures.

"What Is Going On Here?"
There have been a ton of things happening here. I have more things I want to blog about, but I have been busy. I thought I would take a few minutes and just give a run down of things that have been happening, or will happen shortly.
- Going away party for those of our ward who are moving this week
- Family coming to town
- Two doctors appointments in one week (more about this later)
- Having blood drawn twice within about a week because we thought the lab messed up. Then finding out right after that they did not and the second blood draw was unnecessary!
- 22 weeks coming and going without taking a picture (I will try to get another picture soon)
- 13 days left in Toledo
- Helping some of our friends pack their trucks
- Graduation
- Showing our families Grand Rapids (hopefully I will get some pictures from this)
- Taking families to the zoo (again I might get some pictures of this)
- Packing, packing, and more packing
- Cleaning, cleaning, and, oh yeah, cleaning
- Jon decided that we should just burn all of our stuff instead of trying to pack it into a truck. This was after helping friends load their truck. He was kidding a little.

"Doctors"
James really loves his dart gun that Robby gave him for his last birthday. For a long time he called the darts, "doctors." I have no idea why. He just did. Now he knows that they are darts, but occasionally will still call them, "doctors." I had the dart gun out for him to play with the other day (I have to put it up high because he likes to chew on the darts and sometimes eat pieces of them), and he realized that he could stick them to him forehead.
Just so you know, no on shot the dart at him. He did stick it to his forehead by himself.

Soup Anyone?
James has been "cooking" a lot lately. He loves to get dishes out of the kitchen and make things. Here are some pictures of him making "Alphabet Soup."
He will even take these spoons to bed with him most nights.

Lids
James has recently discovered the lids to my pots and pans. I am surprised he has not discovered them sooner. He loves to pretend he is cooking with them. He will bring Jon and I one of the lids (each) and say. Mommy's plate, " and, "Daddy's plate." Then he will get another and say, "James plate." Here are a few pictures.
In this one, he is tasting his cooking to make sure it is good.

Stylish
Notice James's outfit.
He chose it. I do not know what it is about Thursdays, but the last few weeks on Thursday James insists that we need to go to church that day, and he needs to wear his church clothes. Normally when this occurs on Thursdays, I can convince him otherwise, but yesterday all I could do was get him to pick a different button shirt and a tie. He wore the tie all day. I also like that his pinkie is sticking out while he eats in the above picture. So refined!
