Little German Boy

Here is a picture I know many have been waiting to be posted here. 

James loved his costume this year as you can tell by the picture.  He was a little German boy in his liederhosen.  His blond hair and blue eyes made him look the part even more.

We had our Ward Halloween Party last night.  James enjoyed running around the church, while mom and dad took turns eating chili and keeping James out of trouble. James also enjoyed getting candy at the all cars.  It was a fun night!

I Love My Zoo!

Here are a few random pictures of our visits to the zoo this month.  Not rocks.  The hippos were playing, but I could not get a very good picture of it.

Barbecue and Carnival Games

Saturday, we went to a Stake Youth Barbecue with some carnival games.  The youth seemed to enjoy themselves even though some of the leaders were upset about the lack of organization, and we ran out of food.  Even those how fell in the pond still seemed to have a good time while their teeth chattered.  A map on how to get there might have been helpful for some too.  There were a few who got lost on the drive there.  Oh well, good times for all.

James found the easier way, though most of the apples had bites taken out of them by the end of the night.  I do not think it was just James.  There were a few other boys taking bites out and throwing them back.

Hatchet/Ax throwing. 

Yes, we let the youth through sharp objects, but under the supervision of an adult.  Brother and Sister Felt even gave it a try.

James also found this ball and slide which entertained him for a while.

How Many Buckets Can You Keep On Your Head?

James wanted to put these buckets on my head. 

He would get mad when I took them off or they fell off, so I would hold them on my head while he played and ran around.

Little Boo at the Zoo

Yesterday, James and I joined some friends for trick-or-treating at the zoo.  We went last year and enjoyed ourselves, so I wanted to go again this year.  It was fun except for James throwing a few fits when I tried to get him back in his stroller.  I should not have taken him out, oh well.  The Little German Boy (better picture to come).

James learned how to "drive" while we were visiting family. 

He loves to sit behind the wheel and drive.  Any time he gets the chance he climbs into the front seat.  Here are some picture I took of him after we got back to Toledo.
