Jon and I went to an Emergency Medicine Residency Workshop at St. V's Mercy Hospital in Downtown Toledo tonight. There was good food and very helpful information. The food was from the China One Buffet, which we of course had to find out ahead of time that it is safe Chinese. It was really good, and nice to find out there is a Chinese restaurant Jon and I go to and it is ginger-free. For the workshop, there were two attendings that talked about things to look for when choosing an Emergency Medicine Residency and what to prepare for when you are out interviewing. All the students who attended (there were only about 20, mostly third years) were able to ask questions, too. It was very helpful information.
